Do you want to make your own signature perfume out of organic ingredients? It’s an amazing idea, as it gives you the chance to create a scent using eco-friendly ingredients. It does take a little time but it’s worth it.  Here we show you how to make a fragrant perfume that will be kinder both to your skin and the environment.

We’ve outlined an easy recipe to create an amazing perfume that produces a long-lasting scent. You can store in a small container; it’s a good option when you travel, and you can also keep it in your handbag while you carry it to work. It also makes your clothes smell really good!

If you find the perfume too strong, add another tbsp. of distilled water to dilute it.

Step 1: Make the Solution

In a bottle, add 2 tsp. of almond oil and 6-7 drops of essential oil, or a combination of different essential oils as per your taste.

Step 2: Let it sit

Shake the bottle for 1 minute. Then put it away in a shaded corner and allow it to sit for 2-3 days.

Step 3: Filter It

After 2-3 days, add 2 tbsp. of distilled water. Shake the bottle well for 1 minute and then filter the contents through a mesh filter.

Step 4: Store it

Pour into a spray bottle. Store it away from heat and light for 1 week.

Step 5: It’s Ready!

After 1 week, filter any sediment that settles at the bottom of the bottle using a mesh filter. Pour the perfume into a pretty bottle.

Now you can start using it. This perfume is also a great gifting idea for festivals and birthdays. Enjoy your fragrant creations and share the experience with your friends and family too!
