Regardless of whether your flooring is tile or laminate, cork or linoleum, there are simple and safe ways to clean it and make it new and spotless. After some trial and error, we managed to come up with guidelines on using the right technique, tools and cleaners for your flooring. So stop wondering about how to remove stains from floors and use these guidelines now!
1) Remove Surface Dirt and Dust
Sweep your floor tiles every day to remove loose dirt and dust. You can also use a vacuum cleaner. Use a low setting for effective cleaning. Do this at least once a day to avoid dust settling on your floor tiles.
2) Use an Effective Floor Cleaner
Mopping with an effective floor cleaner is the best way to dislodge tough stains and disinfect your flooring. Make mopping a daily exercise to get rid of disease-causing germs. After cleaning, you can disinfect the floor with an effective floor cleaning agent like Domex Floor Cleaner. It kills germs. Check the pack to understand the correct usage instructions. And always test on a small part to check compatibility.

3) Rinse the Floor
Once you’ve mopped the floor with a floor cleaner, rinse the tiles with plain water. You can use warm water for this. Don’t forget to wring the mop frequently.
4) Clean the Grout
The grout is the space between tiles. Over time, it starts turning black and can diminish the beauty of your glossy floor tiles. To clean the grout, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 2 tbsp. of water. Apply a layer of this paste in the grout. Let it rest for 10 min. Then, scrub the paste gently with an old toothbrush. This will help you get rid of any dirt and grime. Finally, rinse with a damp cotton cloth.
