Beautiful walls embellish your home. The smoothness and shine on your walls give your home an inviting feel. Painting your home is one of the simplest home decor ideas. However, painting your walls can be expensive. So, you should make an effort to maintain their brightness and shine for longer.

Follow the tips given below to remove tea stains from your walls.

1) Use Stain Remover

Try out a stain remover on an inconspicuous area of the wall to ensure it doesn’t dislodge the paint from your walls. If you’re satisfied with the result, apply it on the stained area.

2) Use Dishwashing Liquid

Squeeze 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid in a bowl of warm water. You can try using Vim dishwashing liquid, which is easily available in the market. Mix well. Dip a sponge in the soapy solution and rub the walls with this sponge. Wipe off the soapy solution from the surface of your walls using a damp cotton cloth. Let it dry. Do not use a corrosive scrub pad. It will ruin the smooth finishing of your walls. We suggest you do a patch test first on an inconspicuous area of your wall to check compatibility.

If you want to make your cleaning solution even more potent, add a cup of distilled vinegar along with the dishwashing liquid in a bowl of warm water. The stain will come off right away.

3) Use Baking Soda

You can also make your cleaning solution using simple kitchen ingredients. Get ½ a cup of baking soda and add it to a bucket of warm water. Twirl the water with your hands to ensure the baking soda dissolves in the water properly. Soak a soft towel in the water and wipe the stained area of your walls with it. After that, rinse the wall with a damp cotton cloth. The stains will come off from the surface in minutes.
