Ingredients to Keep Handy:

a) Bucket with warm water

b) Vinegar

  1. Step 1: Soak Your Stained Clothes

Fill a bucket with water depending on the number of stained clothes to be washed. Always make sure the garments are soaked in the water completely.

  2. Step 2: Add Vinegar

Add 1 cup of vinegar to the bucket of water and let the clothes soak in it for 15 minutes.

  3. Step 3: Rub the Stained Area

Rub the stained area with your fingers to loosen the detergent particles. You could also use a clothes brush to scrub the area gently.

  4. Step 4: Let it Soak

Let the clothes sit in the vinegar and water solution for up to half an hour. Next, remove the clothes and rinse under running water.

  5. Step 5: Check for Stains

Check again for stains after you have rinsed your clothes. You can repeat the steps in case you find stubborn stains on some clothes.

You can use a liquid detergent instead, which doesn’t leave a stain and dissolves completely in water. You can try using Surf Excel Matic Liquid for this. It is specially formulated for washing machines. It leaves no residue (like powders do) as being a liquid it dissolves completely in water.
