Ace that important meeting with a crisp, formal shirt and confidence. However, formal shirts can be expensive. Obviously, you can’t toss away your shirt if you accidentally spill tea on it. Tea contains antioxidants that are good for your body. But, on your shirt, they simply become stubborn stains. Use the simple yet effective laundry tricks listed here to keep your shirt bright and stain-free.
1) Use Baking Soda
Put baking soda on the affected area and let it absorb the residue liquid. Baking soda will lift the stain off your garment. Wipe off the soda from your shirt using a damp cloth. Do not scrub the stain on your shirt too vigorously. Finally, you can wash your shirt like you normally would.
2) Use Vinegar
Pour vinegar on the stained area directly and leave it for 15 minutes. The vinegar will react with the stain and lift it from the fabric. Rinse your garment with cold water. Do not put your shirt for washing until the stain has disappeared.

3) Use Salt and Club Soda
Blot the liquid with a paper towel to absorb the residue. Then, sprinkle some salt on the stain and follow it up with club soda. The salt and soda will break down the stain and lift it from your garment. Rinse the stained area with cold water. Then, put your shirt to wash.
4) Use Detergent
You can also treat the stain using your regular laundry detergent and warm water. Dampen the stain with warm water and sprinkle some detergent on it. We recommend using Surf Excel Easy Wash for this. Let the detergent rest on the stain for 5 minutes. Scrub with an old toothbrush. Rinse with cold water. The stain should disappear.
