Everyone loves going for a party. But what people don’t like is spilling food or wine on their clothes. However, a food accident is bound to happen at some time or the other. But, don’t let a stain on your favourite dress dampen your spirits. The trick is to clean the stain as soon as you spot it. More or less, the cleaning technique for different types of stains are quite similar. However, you might need to alter the process a bit, based on the main element in the stain.

Here we go!

1. Removing Oil and Butter Stains

Sprinkle some flour, talcum powder and cornstarch on both sides of the stain and let it sit on the stain for 30 minutes. Shake off the powder and see if the stain is still there. If yes, then gently rub some mild dishwashing gel on it and rinse under warm water.

2. Removing Tea and Coffee Stains

Mix a solution of 2 tbsp. of vinegar in ½ bowl of water. Gently dab the stained area with this solution and rinse. Repeat the process until the stain vanishes.
