Whether you have guests over or are relaxing in your own living room, you’d like to know how to make your room smell good. We’ve got amazing tips on how you can achieve this using natural ingredients.
1)Â Â Coffee Bean Fragrance
If you like the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, you're surely going to love this tip. To make your room smell like an artisanal cafe, take a bowl filled ¾th with coffee beans and cover it with a lid or plate. Then, place tealights on top of it. The lit candle will warm the beans and spread the warm aroma of coffee throughout your living room!
2)Â Â Orange Peel Candle
Cut an orange in half. Then, scoop out the pulp using a spoon leaving only the peel. When removing the flesh of the orange, a white stem (that resembles the wick of a candle) part should remain. Ensure you leave this intact and attached to the peel, or you can also use a wick from the market. Fill each half of the orange peels with olive oil, leaving a cm from the brim, and voilà , you’ve made yourself an orange-scented candle!

3)Â Â Vanilla Extract and Essential Oil Freshener
To make your own homemade air freshener, take ¾ of a cup of water in a glass, and add 1 tbsp. of vanilla extract and 6-7 drops of your favourite essential oil to it. Pour this mixture in a spray bottle and spray in your living room whenever required. This will keep your home smelling great. Peppermint oil is one of the best essential oils for your home to smell fragrant.
4) Vinegar and Essential Oil Freshener
This is a brilliant way of using vinegar. Fill ¾ of a clear bowl with water, add 2 tsp. of vinegar and 6-7 drops of your preferred essential oil to it and mix well. Leave this in a corner of your living room to neutralise odours and leave it smelling fresh and inviting.
