A water purifier is generally placed in the kitchen. Deep-frying often releases oil fumes into the air that settle on the exteriors of your water purifier. Add to this fingerprint stains and water marks and you are left with a greasy water purifier.
Getting rid of this greasy film is easy. You’ll find the ingredients to clean this in your kitchen. Here are some tried and tested tips to help you keep your water purifier clean and shiny.
1) Use Vinegar
First unplug the water purifier and also detach the water pipe connected to your purifier. Place your water purifier near the kitchen sink and spray the cleaning solution on the exteriors of your purifier. Mix 2 cups of cold water with ½ a cup of vinegar. Now transfer this solution into a spray bottle and shake well. Then, gently wipe the purifier with a sponge. Finally, wipe the purifier with a clean cotton cloth to ensure there is no residue moisture on your purifier.
2) Use Dishwashing Gel
Take 2 cups of lukewarm water and add 2 tsp. of dishwashing gel to it. Mix well. Pour this cleaning solution into a spray bottle. Follow the same precautionary procedure of unplugging your water purifier and detaching the water pipe from the purifier as mentioned in the above tip. Spray the cleaning solution on the exteriors of your purifier and scrub gently with a clean sponge. Now, wipe off the exteriors with a clean, dry cotton cloth to get rid of any residue moisture.

3) Use Lime Juice
Squeeze 4-5 lemons in a bowl of plain water. Put this mixture into a spray bottle. Before spraying the solution on the purifier, ensure that you’ve unplugged it and removed the water pipes. Place the purifier near the kitchen sink to avoid making a mess. Now, spray the lime juice on the exteriors of the purifier. Wipe off gently with a sponge. Lastly, wipe it dry with a clean cotton cloth.
