Three quick and effective steps to clean the micro-fibre mesh of a water purifier for a healthy glass of drinking water
The micro-fibre mesh of a water purifier is a fine mesh screen which works as a filter to remove impurities. The cleaning frequency of the mesh depends on the type of filter and the amount of dirt and other impurities accumulated. Follow these simple steps to clean the micro-fibre mesh so as to ensure clean drinking water.
Opt for annual maintenance while purchasing a water purifier.
Step 1:
The mesh is a delicate piece of fibre which requires proper handling. Soak it in warm water and keep it in for 15 to 30 minutes. Then use an old toothbrush to clean it.

Step 2:
Gently get rid of all the dirt accumulated on the mesh. Do not scrub vigorously. Wash it with a water jet till the surface gets back to its original colour.
Step 3:
Fix the mesh back in the same place, refill the purifier with water and pour yourself a glass of clean drinking water.
