Have you had an ‘oops’ moment when you jolted your ink pen to get the ink flowing and ended up staining your bedroom wall? If you happen to do this, we have a few easy tips that can help you remove those stains without a fuss. The most important part of the stain-removal process is to treat the stain as soon as possible. The sooner you do this, the greater your chances of being able to remove it with ease.

Follow these surface-cleaning tips to get rid of ink stains from your bedroom walls using simple home ingredients.

Use a white cloth to rub off the stain to avoid dye in the fabric from transferring to the wall.

1) Use Vinegar

Take a bowl and pour 1 cup of vinegar in it. Soak a cotton cloth in the vinegar and rub it gently over the stain. If you are dealing with tough stains, add ¼th cup of baking soda in the bowl to make a stronger cleaning agent. Take a clean rag, soak it in this solution, and wipe your walls clean. Make sure you start from the top and make your way down gradually to avoid drip marks. Remember to place a towel on the floor to catch any water drips.

2) Use Toothpaste

Apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on the stained area. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wipe it off with a clean, white cloth. Repeat the process if required.

3) Use Baking Soda and Water

For this method, you need to make a paste comprising baking soda and warm water. Mix ¼th cup of baking soda in a bucket of lukewarm water. Use a cloth to gently rub this paste on the stains from top to bottom. Rinse and clean using a clean, dry rag.

There you go! Use these tips to remove ink stains from your bedroom walls.
