A large screen TV can instantly grab attention in any room. To enhance the life of your TV and ensure optimum performance keep it dust and stain-free. Read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and then start the surface cleaning process. The use of an alcohol-based cleaning agent can damage your TV if it seeps into the internal circuitry. If possible, wipe the screen every day with a dry microfiber cloth to prevent dust build up and stubborn stains from forming on your screen.
To keep your TV spotless, use the tips given below.
1) Use a Vacuum Cleaner
Remove all the dust from the vents and cables of your TV using a vacuum cleaner. Use a soft brush and low suction pressure setting. For best results, you should vacuum-clean your TV at least once a week. Newer models of TV screens have anti-glare coatings. If you do not have a vacuum cleaner, wipe the screen with a dry microfibre cloth.
2) Clean the Remote
Remove the batteries from your TV remote and tap it from the backside to remove any loose dirt or crumbs. Sometimes dirt gets accumulated between the buttons on your remote. To remove it, you can use a toothpick. Wipe your remote clean with a disinfectant wipe. Let the remote air-dry.

3) Cleaning TV Speakers
You can use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust settled on your speakers. If you do not have a vacuum cleaner, you can use a dry microfiber cloth. Many commercial cleaning agents contain alcohol that can damage your TV. So, read the label instructions carefully.
4) Wash TV Covers
Use a TV cover to protect it from dust. Hand-wash these covers every alternate week using a mild detergent. Our preferred choice is Surf Excel Easy Wash.
There you go! All that is left to do is enjoy watching your favourite shows on a spic-and-span TV screen.
