While you’re cleaning your entire home for Diwali, a lot of spaces will have glass, which needs to be cleaned as well. These include your mirrors, tabletops, windows and even your TV screen. We tell you how to clean these to complete your home Diwali clean-up.
1) To Clean Foggy Mirrors
Mix 1 cup of water along with 1 cup of vinegar in a bowl. Add 2-3 drops of a dishwashing liquid to it. After pouring the mixture in a spray bottle, apply it on the surface of the mirror. Wipe it off with a cloth or old newspaper, and your mirrors should be fog-free for a few days.
2) To Clean Windows
Mix 1 cup of warm water with ½ cup of vinegar in a bowl. Dip a sponge in this solution and wipe the window with it. Clean from top to down in straight lines, so the excess liquid drips down in the same direction. Wipe the window with a damp cloth. Finally, wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth to ensure no watermarks remain.

3) To Clean Glass Table Top
Take a bowl of warm water. Add ½ cup of vinegar to it. Dip a sponge in this mixture and apply on the glass. Firmly rub any area which has a sticky residue on it. Take a piece of newspaper and wipe the surface clean. Finally, wipe dry with a new cloth to ensure no watermarks remain.
4) To Clean TV and Mobile Screens
Use this method to clean any screen - your TV, mobile or any other gadget. The first thing you need to do is make sure your TV or electronic device is switched off. Then take a dry, soft cloth, similar to the ones you use to clean eyeglasses, and gently wipe the screen. Do not press the screen too hard while wiping. If marks are still present on the screen, make a solution comprising ½ cup of vinegar with 1 cup of water. Dip a cloth in this solution and gently wipe the stained area. Finally, wipe dry with a clean cloth to avoid any watermarks. But ensure that none of the liquid gets into the groove around the bezel and inside the hardware.
Enjoy your clean screens this Diwali. You're welcome!
