For everyday cleaning, you can wipe your crystal artefacts with a lint-free towel. There are also special crystal-polishing cloths available in the market that you can use to keep your crystal fingerprint- and dust-free.
However, if the artefacts are soiled, follow these tips to remove stains easily.
Don’t use boiling water or bleach to clean your crystal artefacts.
1) Use Dishwashing Liquid
Squeeze a few drops of dishwashing liquid into a bowl full of lukewarm water. Soak a lint-free towel in this soapy solution and wipe your crystal pieces with it. To get rid of stains, gently rub the stained area with a soft cloth. Then wipe off the cleaning solution with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Later, buff with a polishing cloth.

2) Use a Mixture of Vinegar and Salt
If your crystal piece has started to look cloudy, this may be due to mineral deposits. To get rid of the deposits, make a solution by combining 1 tsp. of salt with 5 tbsp. of vinegar. Apply the paste all over the artefact and let it rest for 10 minutes. Now, rinse the piece in running water and dry with a soft, lint-free towel.
3) Use Toothpaste
Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste on a soft sponge, or even on your fingertips. Then, apply the toothpaste on your crystal piece and scrub gently. Keep rubbing until all the mineral deposits are dissolved. Now, soak a lint-free towel in clean water and wipe away the toothpaste from the crystal. They should now shine like new.
Your sparkling crystal collection will now be the envy of friends and family alike!
