Concrete tiles are prone to dirt as well as damage. Concrete floors absorb liquid and this could stain the surface. We bring you a step-by-step surface cleaning guide to help you keep your concrete floors sparkling clean.
Step 1: Sweep the Floor
The first step is to sweep your concrete floor with a broom. This is done to get rid of dust before you start scrubbing and mopping the floor. Sweeping a couple of times will help remove all the loose dirt on your floor.
Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution
Take a bucket and fill 3/4th of it with water. Add 1 cup of vinegar and 2 tsp. of dishwashing liquid to it. Mix well to make a soapy solution.

Step 3: Scrub
Take a cloth, dip it in this solution and scrub your concrete floors. This will remove dirt, dust and debris. Pay special attention to the corners where there may be an accumulation of grime. Let the mixture rest on your floors for about 5 minutes before moving on to the next step.
Step 4: Clean Your Floors
Take a bucket of clean water, dip a clean cloth in it, squeeze out excess water and start mopping the tiles. Make sure you scrub the entire floor area. Each time you notice the rag turning dark and dirty, rinse it with water and continue cleaning.
Step 5: Let It Dry
The final step is to let your floors dry naturally. So, wait for them to dry completely before walking on your floors.
There you go! Follow these simple steps, and your concrete floors will look clean and shiny.
