With kids at home, having ink stains in your house is inevitable. Although an ink pen is a great tool to help your kids improve their handwriting, the process of re-filling ink in the pen can leave behind some stubborn stains on your flooring. It’s especially painful when your white marble flooring gets stained with dark ink.

At first, you might feel that it’s nearly impossible to remove it. However, there’s no need to fret! We have a simple solution for you.

Try the following steps if you face this situation and your white marble floor will be restored to its original shine easily.

Step 1: Wipe the Stain

Take a clean, dry cloth or a sponge and thoroughly wipe the stained surface with it to remove as much of the stain as possible.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Paste

Now, make a thick paste of 1 cup of flour and 1 tbsp. of dishwashing liquid.

Step 3: Apply It

Liberally apply this paste on the stained spot to cover it entirely. Take cling film, poke small holes in it and use it to cover the stained spot. Let it dry overnight.

Step 4: Wash the Floor

The next day, make a solution by mixing 4 drops of dishwashing soap in 1 cup of water. Now, take off the cling film and thoroughly wash the stained area using this solution.

Step 5: Wipe and Dry

Take a clean, white cloth to buff the excess water from the flooring. With white cloth, there’s no chance of the colour transferring from your fabric to your white marble flooring. Let it dry naturally.

Yes, it’s that simple and effective. Try it yourself!
