You must treat stains as soon as you can, as the residue milk in stains will lead to odour and be difficult to get rid of. Mothers and newborn babies need ample amount to rest, so it’s best if you can get someone else to do the cleaning for you.
Employ the steps given here to clean the stains from your baby's clothes efficiently and effortlessly.
Step 1: Blot the Residue
Scoop the milk from your baby's garment using a baby spoon. Put some paper towel on the stained area to blot the residue liquid. Do not rub the paper towel on your baby's clothing item.
Step 2: Treat with Cold Water
Soak a cleaning cloth in cold water and dampen the stained area of your baby's garment with it. You can also use a cleaning sponge. Press gently. Do not scrub vigorously as it will ruin the fabric.

Step 3: Make a Cleaning Solution
Prepare a cleaning solution using bleach and water. You can also use a laundry detergent with bleaching properties. You can try using Rin Liquid detergent for this. Leave this cleaning solution on the stain for 30 minutes. Remember to always use rubber gloves when handling bleach.
Step 4: Rinse and Dry
Gently rinse the garment in warm water and put it out for drying, away from direct sunlight. Ensure there is no residue detergent as it can have an allergic reaction on your baby's soft skin. Also, do not fold and store your baby's clothes until they've dried completely. Residue moisture can lead to mildew.
