Cleaning your water tank may seem like a daunting task, but we’ve made it easy and simple with this step-by-step guide.
Step 1:
Empty the tank. Clear the water through the outlet valve. Just make sure the water shouldn’t cause any localized flooding. Collect the remaining water with a bucket.
Step 2:
Clean the tank. Prepare a mixture of Surf Excel liquid detergent and baking soda and sprinkle it on the walls of the tank. Using a bristle brush or abrasive sponge, scrub the insides of the tank. Move your arm horizontally from side to side while applying good amount of pressure on the brush or sponge. Avoid brushes with steel bristles or sponges made of steel.

Step 3:
Rinse the tank. Use a water jet to forcefully get rid of the detergent and any other cleaning agent. Let it air dry.
After the tank is dry, you can refill the tank, which is now ready to use.
