Ingredients to Keep Handy

a) Dishwashing detergent

b) White vinegar

c) Rubber gloves

d) Laundry detergent

  1. Step 1: Identify and Treat Stained Spots

Lay your office wear garment on a flat surface. Inspect carefully to identify the affected areas of your clothing. Now, cover these stains with a few drops of an effective liquid detergent. You can try using Surf Excel Matic Liquid for this as it is designed to remove tough stains. Remember to check the gel on an inconspicuous area of the garment like the cuff or the hem to test for compatibility.

  2. Step 2: Scrub

Damp your fingers and gently scrub the stains. Move your fingers in circular motion and work your way in from the outside. The laundry detergent will cut the grease. You’ll notice that the stain is lifted off the fabric.

  3. Step 3: Treat with White Vinegar

Once the stain has disappeared, rinse off the soapy layer on the stain affected region using white vinegar. It will help you maintain the strength of your garment. Ensure that the vinegar is handled with care. Wear rubber gloves while using vinegar to avoid direct contact.

  4. Step 4: Rinse with Water

Now, wash off the residue detergent and white vinegar on your garment using plain water. If you’ve worn it only once, you can reuse it before tossing it in the washing machine. Or follow Step 5.

  5. Step 5: Wash Like You Usually Do

Read the care label instructions on your garment before tossing it away in the washing machine. Set the machine cycle and water temperature as per the instructions on the label. Adhering to the manufacturer’s instructions will help you preserve your clothes for longer. If you prefer to wash your clothes in a washing machine, you can use Surf Excel Matic Liquid, which is specially formulated for washing machines and is easily available in the market. Being a liquid, it dissolves completely in water and washes away completely without leaving behind any stains (like powders do).
