  2. Step 2: Treat the Stain

Prepare a stain-treating solution. Dampen the stained area and sprinkle some baking soda over the stain. Allow it to settle for 20-25 minutes. Then blot it away with a paper towel. If the stain persists, take 1 cup of warm water and add 1 tsp. of dishwashing liquid along with 1 tbsp. of white vinegar to it. Mix well. Use the solution on the stained areas of your blanket and let it rest for 15 minutes. Now, dampen a sponge with warm water and wipe off the stained area of your blanket with it. The coffee stains should disappear. However, if you can still see some residue stain, repeat the process.

  3. Step 3: Let it Dry

Now, leave the stained area of the blanket to air-dry. There's no need to hang your blanket out in the sun. Do not put your blanket to wash until you've treated the stain.

  4. Step 4: Wash Your Blanket
