Keep these tips handy to clean storage boxes and get rid of unwanted stench/smell.

1) Rubbing alcohol

It can clean coffee, tea, tomato sauce and juice stains. Pour a cup of rubbing alcohol inside a box and let it sit for 10 minutes. Scrub the box with a sponge and rinse it later.

Squirt some of it in a box and scrub the stains nicely. Wash it with clean water and rinse. Let it air dry.

3) Vinegar

Prepare a solution of half a jug of water and 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Pour this solution in a storage box and scrub the box with a sponge. Later, rinse it.

Make a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of baking soda and a cup of water in a container. Apply this paste to the storage box and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Clean the box using a damp rag and later wash it with clean water.
