How to Clean a Self-Cleaning Oven?

  1. Step 1: Empty the Oven

    Take out any oven trays or pots from the oven. It should be empty. You can wash these items in the kitchen sink using a dishwash gel.  

  2. Step 2: Choose the Self-Clean Option

    Set the oven on the self-clean mode. The oven should be locked during this duration. If it doesn’t happen automatically, leave a note so that others know. Keep your kitchen doors and windows open during this duration.

  3. Step 3: Clean the Ash

    Wait for the oven to cool down. Once the oven has cooled off, collect the residue ash in a garbage bag and throw it away.

  1. Step 1: Empty the Oven
