Wooden trays look classy and attractive. To keep them looking new for longer, you’ll have to put in a little effort. Use these simple yet powerful tips to clean your wooden trays.

To make your wooden tray shine, scrub it with mayonnaise and then buff with a clean cloth.

1) Use Lime and Baking Soda

Mix 2 tbsp. of baking soda and 4 tsp. of lime juice in a bowl to form a paste. Apply this paste on the wooden tray and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Now, squeeze 2 drops of dishwashing gel on a sponge and scrub the tray. The stains on the wooden tray will come right off. Wash the tray with clean tap water and wipe it dry with a cotton cloth. Your wooden tray should look as good as the day you bought it.

2) Use Vinegar and Hot Water

Prepare a cleaning solution for your wooden tray. Take a bucket of hot water and add 1 cup of vinegar and 1 tsp. of lime juice to it. Soak the unclean wooden tray in this solution for 15 minutes. Ensure that the tray is completely immersed in the cleaning solution. Pour a few drops of dishwashing gel on a nylon scrubber and use it to scrub the tray.
