It's always nice to invest in good quality cutlery. But what’s more important is to keep them clean. In this article, we give you easy tips to do just that.
1) Clean Stainless Steel Cutlery
Fingerprint marks and dried food stains on stainless steel cutlery can make them look dirty. To remove these stains, add 2 tsp. of dishwashing liquid to a bowl of warm water. Wash your cutlery in this soapy solution and wipe dry. Use vinegar to get rid of difficult stains from your cutlery. Add 1 cup of vinegar to a bowl of water and let the cutlery soak for 5-7 minutes. Then, wash with mild dishwashing liquid and water. Don’t forget to wipe your cutlery dry to prevent water spots from forming on your cutlery.
2) Clean Silver Cutlery
Silver cutlery can get tarnished easily and is prone to damage. Hence, you need to clean them properly. While it can seem like a time-saver, avoid putting silver cutlery in your dishwasher as this can damage your silverware in the long run. Rinse the cutlery to remove loose food particles or dirt. Take 2 tsp. of mild dishwashing liquid and mix it in a bowl of water. Dip a cloth in this soapy solution and gently wipe your cutlery. Finally, rinse and wipe dry with a clean microfibre cloth. Protect your silverware by storing them in a cotton bag.

3) Clean Wooden Cutlery
Make a cleaning solution by mixing 2 tsp. of dishwashing liquid in 1 cup of lukewarm water. Dip a nylon scrubber in this solution and scrub. Wash with plain water and wipe clean with a cloth.
