Ingredients to Keep Handy:

a) Detergent

b) Damp cloth

  1. Step 1: Apply Detergent

Cover the stain with detergent. You can try using Surf Excel Easy Wash for this. Let the detergent rest on the stain for 10 minutes.

  2. Step 2: Dab with a Cloth

Dab the detergent from the garment using a damp cloth. Do not rub the stain as it will only spread it further. Blot the stain gently until you completely remove it from the fabric.

  3. Step 3: Rinse

Wash the garment in cold water. Do not wring to remove excess water. Wrap the clothing in a towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.

  4. Step 4: Dry

Do not put your child’s clothes in a dryer. The heat will cause discolouration. Flat-dry them instead. Sunlight is an excellent natural bleach.

Kids are messy eaters and you can never be too careful with them. Use these steps to bid goodbye to turmeric stains effortlessly!
