Kids love to scribble with their crayons, especially on walls. Most kids go through this phase. Remember, it is only a phase and will soon be over. Cleaning these scribbles is easy if you follow the simple surface cleaning tips given here.
So, the next time your little Picasso is ready with yet another masterpiece, roll up your sleeves and try one of these tried and tested tricks. These tips should work on most types of wall paint. But to be doubly sure, try it out on an inconspicuous corner of your wall first. Ensure that the cleaning process does not cause the paint on your walls to peel off.
1) Use a Cleaning Solution
Prepare a cleaning solution by adding 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid to a bowl of warm water. Soak a sponge in this solution and wipe your walls with it. Rinse your walls with a cleaning rag soaked in plain water. Lastly, wipe with a dry cotton cloth. Don’t forget to place a rag on the floor to catch water drips.
2) Use a Glass Cleaner
Spray some glass cleaner on the crayon scribbles and let the solution sit on the wall for 20 minutes. This should cause the crayon marks on the walls to loosen. Now, wipe off the stains using a clean rag.

3) Use a Cleaning Paste
Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water to make a paste. Spread this paste on the crayon drawings on the wall. Let it rest for 2 minutes. Then, scrub the paste with a damp sponge and finally wipe off the residue using soapy water.
There you have it. Your walls will now look like they have been freshly painted. There is a chance that your kid will again treat them like a blank canvas. But you now know what to do.
