Using a knife, lift off as much fresh paint as you can to ease the cleaning process.

Method 1: Using water and dish soap

Step 1:

Check the type of stain. If it’s a water-based stain then you can remove it easily using soap and water.

Step 2:

Pour 2 drops of Vim dishwash gel on a paper towel and wipe the stains in a circular motion. Continue doing this till the stains start fading.

Step 3:

Wipe the surface using a dry cloth.

Method 2: Using a paint remover

Step 1:

Apply the paint remover to the stained area using a cotton ball. Try not to get the product on unstained areas of the wood. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Step 2:

Use a damp rag or paper towel to clean up the coating of the paint remover. If the area is greasy or slippery, clean it with mild soap and water to avoid slip hazards.
